Hi. I don’t understand how the descendant describes the partner, particularly in this instance. Isn’t William a cancer? Or does the Aquarius descendant describe him because he ‘rules’ the people or is royal (leo) for the people (Aquarius)?
My descendant is in the same sign as my sun (Cap) and my rising is Cancer so how would that describe a partner? Mafia boss LOL ?- no thanks.
The DC or Descendant is always the partner as in the natural astrology chart it is always on the Seventh House of duets. Yes, William is a Sun Cancer but his DC or Descendant is very different by sign and degree to his Sun.
